In a special morning session dedicated to the memory of Malwa’s harmonium maestros—Pandit Bandu Bhayya Choughule, Pandit Vishnu Bhayya Moongre, Pandit Bapurao Agnihotri, and Dr. Vivek Bansod—the key attraction will be Tanmay Devchake. A devoted disciple of the renowned harmonium maestro Pandit Pramod Marathe, Tanmay Devchake has earned global recognition for popularizing the harmonium. Known for his innovative musical ideas and exceptional practice techniques, he is a pioneer in elevating the status of the instrument.

The program will be opened by Mrs. Rasika Gawde, a talented disciple of Pandit Sunil Masurkar. Rasika Gawde is a proud representative of the rich Gwalior gharana (school) of music and is an accomplished artist in both classical and light classical music.

This musical event, organized under the banner of Saregama Classical, will take place on Sunday, 22nd September at 9:30 AM at the Jal Sabhagrah auditorium. The organizers, Abhishek Gawde, Sanjeev Gavate, and Hemant Chaskar of Saregama Classical, shared that this morning gathering aims to usher in the festival season after the lush monsoon.

Tanmay Devchake will be accompanied on the tabla by the 15-year-old prodigy Sohan Gorane from Pune, while Rasika Gawde will be supported by Ravi Kiledar on harmonium and Pawan Seme on tabla.

The event is open to all and promises to be a mesmerizing musical experience.
